I had a 2016 Porsche Cayenne in the shop for a spare key, so I used the KEYDIY KD-X6 with the KD-EPA Adapter. The same Pin-Free procedure also works for all keys lost. This setup worked for reading the BCM data and adding the KD key.
Read the BCM Data
1. Remove the BCM from above the accelerator pedal and check the module. This one is 434 MHz with a 1N35H chip.
2. On the KD-X6, go to Immo Programming >> Universal Programmer >> Read File >> IMMO >> PORSCHE, select the chip model, and connect the KD-EPA adapter.
3. Follow the wiring diagram for the 1N35H ceramic crystal oscillator version. Remove the two specified components and cut the trace at the crystal oscillator. Use a multimeter to check the cut and confirm there is no connection.
4. Select BCM-IN35H (Backup Read) >> D-FLASH >> Read >> OK >> Start Execution and save the file. Make sure the chip is connected properly before starting.
5. Read the second file through P-FLASH >> Read >> OK >> Start Execution.

Generate the Dealer Key
Reinstall the BCM in the vehicle before generating the key.
1. Go to Immo Programming >> Immo Programming >> PORSCHE >> OK >> Older Porsche 49 >> Start Execution >> Generate dealer key.
2. Select 5M48H, load the EEPROM file, select an empty key slot, and choose Generate Key >> OK.
3. Select KD ZB Smart Key >> 434.42 MHz, then place the KD smart key in the sensing coil.

Learn the Keys
1. Remove the handle and take all keys out of the vehicle. Go to Immobilizer Status and follow the on-screen prompt to turn on the ignition. If all keys are lost, turn on the hazard lights.
2. The system shows 2 keys, with the current key identified as the dealer key. Go to Key Learning >> Load EEPROM data, enter 2 as the number of keys, read the prompts, and click OK.
3. Follow the prompt to learn the first key. When successful, the dashboard shows 02-01. Remove it and insert the second key within 30 seconds, then follow the prompt to finish learning.
4. After matching, remove the key and press the unlock button on each key used in the process. The dashboard shows 02-02, and the wipers wipe once.
Final Check
Test both keys. The vehicle starts normally, and the key functions work as expected.
