KEYDIY KD-X6 makes Audi MLB key programming quick and straightforward. No computer or external device is needed. In this guide, I’ll show the actual procedure for making and programming an Audi MLB key with KD-X6.
Prepare the Original Key
1. Open the original key PCB and solder the wires according to the wiring diagram.
2. Place the original key in the KD-X6 induction coil and connect the wire to the KD-X6.
3. Go to IMMO Programming → MLB/MQB48 → MLB → Identify the Chip → OK.
4. Check the key ID. Open the Connection Diagram and select the matching diagram. KD-X6 provides six wiring diagrams.
Collect Original Key Data
1. Select Collect Data from Original Key → OK.
2. Keep the key in place. Do not move it during data collection.
3. After collection, check the verification code/service code.
Generate the Dealer Key
1. Remove the original key and place the new KD MLB Key in the induction coil.
2. Select Modify Key ID → Read → OK → Generate Randomly. Choose an ID and write it.
3. Read the key again to confirm the new ID.
4. Select Generate Dealer Key. Choose the correct service code, then tap Generate → OK.
Learn the Key to the Vehicle
1. Go to IMMO Programming → IMMO Programming → AUDI → OK → MLB Immobilizer System → Start Execution → Key Learning.
2. Enter 2 when prompted for the number of keys to be learned. Then turn off the air conditioner and open the engine hood as prompted.
3. Turn on the ignition. Place the first key in the sensing area and complete learning.
4. Place the second key in the sensing area and complete learning.
Verification
Start the vehicle with the learned key. The vehicle starts normally, and the basic key functions work.
